Job Description:
Nadji Architects is looking for a structural engineer, who can work within the budget and timeline provided by the client. Main responsibilities and duties consist of conceptual and detailed design for various buildings, checking the shop drawings, providing support for architects and drafting team working as a valid team-member, site inspections and providing day-to-day engineering solutions to various project and site conditions.
Main Job Duties and skill requirements of job:
Professional Structural Engineer
5 years' experience
Familiarity with the challenge of construction in the north
Experience dealing with northern weather and soil conditions
Analyze building codes, by-laws, space requirements, site requirements and other technical documents and
Familiarity with Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, Public buildings design
Computer applications: Computer aided drafting - AutoCAD
Ability to Supervise: Working groups, Contractors, Staff in various areas of responsibility
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to details
Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel
Languages: Speak, Read and Write English
